2021 City Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Trapper Pass Phase 2: Tomorrow morning a crew will be on-site to mill joints and work on a small asphalt patch on Cascade Pass in preparation for wear course paving. Paving will occur on Near Mountain Blvd, Piedmont Ct, Castle Ridge, Shasta Cir E, Cascade Cir, Cascade Ct, Cascade Pass. Paving operations are planned to finish up tomorrow. The contractor will also adjust the manhole castings and gate valves along Timber Hill Rd tomorrow morning and if time allows they may also finish paving on that road. Irrigation and Invisible fence repairs, landscaping, restoration, and punch list work will be taking place over the next few weeks.
Kurvers Point Road Area: Irrigation repairs are beginning this week and invisible fence repairs will take place afterwards. Placement of topsoil will continue for the remainder of this week and seeding is tentatively scheduled to being next week or the following week. Adjustments for manhole castings and gate valves in the street are tentatively scheduled for October 27th and 28th in preparation for the wear course paving which is tentatively scheduled for October 29th.
Marsh Drive Area: Adjustments to manhole castings and gate valves are scheduled to occur this Friday, October 22nd and Monday, October 25th. Prep work consisting of milling pavement joints in various areas in the area and two small asphalt patches will be removed and replaced in the street on Dakota Lane on Tuesday, October 26. Wear course paving is tentatively scheduled for October 27th and 28th.
Lake Lucy Road Area, Redwing Lane Area, Choctaw Circle Area, and Trappers Pass Phase 1: These areas have primarily been completed except for some minor work that is not weather dependent and essential to the operation of the streets. There are also some other minor follow-up (punch list) type of items that staff continues to follow-up with the contractor on. Inlet protection has been taken out in some areas and will continue to be removed over the next few weeks.
This project is divided into six neighborhood areas. Trappers Pass is the largest area and will be divided into two construction phases.

Substantial completion is expected by November 2021. Stormwater pond clean-out work will occur in the Trapper's Pass area during the winter of 2021/2022. Final restoration is planned during the spring of 2022.
