Chanhassen’s 4th of July Celebration


This annual celebration is a year-round topic of conversation in the community and is renowned throughout the state. Participation levels top 10,000 people per day.

This year's activities are scheduled for July 2, 3, and 4.

All events are held in downtown Chanhassen at City Center Park, 7700 Market Boulevard, unless noted otherwise.

Saturday, July 2nd Highlights

 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Farmer's Market - Located at City Center Park Plaza Parking Lot
 3 - 10 p.m.
Family Night at the Carnival - All rides $2 from 3-8 pm; otherwise 3-$3.50 each

Sunday, July 3rd Highlights

10 - 1 p.m.
Minnesota Twins Baseball/Softball Clinic
      • 10am-11:30am - Ages 6-9 (Chanhassen High School)
      • 11:30am - 1pm - Ages 10-16 (Chanhassen High School)
2 - 6 p.m.
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament sponsored by Chan Rec Center Sports

Water Wars - $5 large bucket, $3 small bucket

Midwest Carnival Rides & Concessions - $25 unlimited wristbands 5-11pm.

3rd Lair Summer Skateboard Series - (Skate Park) Free
      • 6pm registration. All ages & abilities. Earn points to compete at the MN State Fair. Limted to 75 riders.
