Fire Prevention Week

This is the department primary outreach to students ages 6 to 10 for fire prevention educations. Children get an opportunity to learn how to spot hazards and how to respond in fire emergencies in their homes.

Fire Department Open House

Want to see what goes on at the Fire Department? Come and see for yourself and bring the kids for a fun afternoon at the station. There are fire truck rides, demonstrations, food and a raffle for a ride up in the 100’ aerial ladder. The event concludes Fire Prevention week. Parents can get a glimpse of what their children have been learning.

Lions Pancake Breakfast

Each Palm Sunday the local Lions Club takes over the apparatus bays to serve up a pancake breakfast to the general public. The Lions club has a long history supporting the Fire Department and this has become a very well attended event. Pancakes, sausages, coffee and juice are served by the Chanhassen Lions and members of the Chanhassen Fire Department.

Other Event Participation
