Questions generally arise related to placement of campaign signs. City code states that no signs may be erected or placed within any street right-of-way, sight triangle, or upon public property, i.e. parks. Campaign signs may only be placed on private property, with permission of the property owner. Signs must be removed no later than 10 days following the election.
For 2020, the period when campaign signs can be displayed begins June 26 and ends November 13.
