The voyage begins as we travel by rail from China's capital, Beijing, to one of the highest capitals in the world, Lhasa, Tibet. This railway opened in 20016 and includes the Tanggula Pass, which, at 16,640 feet above sea level, is the world's highest rail track. Along the way, we stop to see the Great Wall of China as well as the Terracotta Warriors. Arriving in the Tibetan region, we see colorful prayer wheels and statues of their gods carved out of yak butter. Hop aboard for a journey of adventure! Following our journey, we will enjoy a Chinese style lunch and celebrate Chinese New Year. Kung Hei Fat Choy - that's the Chinese New Year greeting for Happy New Year!
