Our day will begin with a tour of Ordway Center where we will learn the origin, history, and see the different spaces at the iconic St. Paul Theatre. Next, we will have a buffet lunch at the M St. Cafe located in the beautiful St. Paul Hotel. Our afternoon involves a gangster tour and a building tour at the Landmark Center where we will be taken back in time with a costumed guide who will share what St. Paul was like during the gangster era. Following the seated presentation, you’ll view the historic, restored courtrooms and learn how the building has functioned over time. Next, we will visit the Schubert Club Museum offering a reflection on the joys of music-making through the centuries. You’ll see a massive cyclone sculpture of instruments, historic keyboards, a collection of correspondence from famous composers, music boxes, and phonographs dating back to 1900. We’ll end the day at The Gallery of Wood Arts in the Landmark Center. Join us as we visit all these St. Paul gems.
