Connect to your TWIN CITIES AREA PUBLIC LIBRARIES from home, work, or school.
- A library system's online computer catalog is the database of materials owned by that library system. The database also shows which branches own a given item and if it is on the shelf or checked out.
- Dial-in access to public libraries provides the same service as online terminals in libraries. The basic function is to help you see what books and materials are available at the library. Searching may be done by subject, author, or title.
- Additional online features:
- access to full-text of many magazines
- reserving and/or renewing items
- your borrowing record
- booklists
- events calendars
- Once you make an online connection, read the screen directions carefully. They will guide you through the necessary steps for a successful search.

Friends of the Chanhassen Library
The Friends of the Chanhassen Library meet on the second Saturday of every month from 9-10 am in the City Council Chambers. The Friends raise money for "extras" like prizes for the summer reading program, adult and children's programs, etc. New members are always welcome!
