Flag Football Instructor: Plans coordinates, and instructs a comprehensive football program. Responsible for teaching of basic football skills, techniques, and rules to children in first through third grades. Lessons are taught at the Chanhassen Recreation Center. Tennis Instructor: Plans, coordinates, and instructs a comprehensive tennis program using USTA guidelines and curriculum. Responsible for teaching all levels of tennis ranging from beginners to intermediate ages 4-12. Lessons are taught at the Chanhassen Recreation Center. Playground Leaders: Temporary, seasonal position running from June through August 20 for 25-35 hours per wekk. Under the general supervision of the Playground Director. Provides leadership and direction in planning and implementing the Summer Discovery Playground Program.

Park Intern: The City of Chanhassen is offering a student internship in the Park and Recreation Department. The student will assist with the administration, supervision, and leadership of all recreation and leisure-oriented activities.
Qualifications: Must be at least a senior in park and recreation studies, have completed the necessary requirements with their respective college or university, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities: To follow the regulations and policies of the city, to perform all given work assignments, to be a good example and positive representative of the Chanhassen Park & Recreation Department, and perform any other duties related to the internship experience as required by the supervisor.
