2010 Chanhassen Photo Contest
Capture the experience of life in Chanhassen! The Chanhassen City Photo Contest will showcase pictures of what makes living in Chanhassen so special. The contest is open to amateur photographers and is restricted to Chanhassen residents only.
2010 Contest Categories:
- Community Life & Recreation: sporting events, people, city events
- Youth: photos of any subject taken by residents under the age 18
Entry & Submissions: Up to 5 photos per entrant may be submitted. Entrants must be the sole author and owner of the image/photo. Submissions must be subjects in the City of Chanhassen. All submissions become the property of the City of Chanhassen. Photos shall not be more than two years old and must not have been altered in any way other than cropping. Entries with names, logos, or writing on the photo will not be accepted. Submission deadline is Wednesday, November 30, 2010.
Photo/Media Requirements: Only images in jpeg format accepted; negatives not accepted. Submissions must be in color and must be at least 2 mg in size with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
Submitted photos must include: Your name, address, phone number and email address; title and brief description; date the photo was taken and the address of the location; model’s releases if photos contain identifiable people.
Awards:
Grand Prize: Photo will be published on the cover of the Chanhassen Connection and showcased at City Hall.
Second Place, Third Place & Honorable Mention: Photos will receive awards and be placed on the Chanhassen web site or in a Chanhassen publication.
