To claim your lost pet, or if you have any information on the owner of any animal listed on this page, call the Community Service Officers at 952-227-1607 or email them at CSO@ci.chanhassen.mn.us. After hours, on weekends or holidays, you may call Carver County Dispatch at 952-361-1231 to see if your pet has been picked up.

All animals posted on this page are up for adoption in 10 business days from the date they were impounded. Not all animals will be deemed adoptable after the 10-day period. Animals deemed adoptable will be sent to an animal humane society located in the metro area. If you wish to adopt, and would like more information about a particular animal listed on this page, please contact a Community Service Officer at 952-227-1607.

Owners are responsible for all Impound charges at time of release.

All pets residing inside Chanhassen city limits are required to have proof of rabies vaccination and have a city license. Animals that are current with vaccinations (proof must be provided) but do not have a license must acquire one for an animal to be released. Arrangements can be made at release if proof of vaccinations cannot be provided. Call the Community Service Officers at 952-227-1607 for more details.

CATS

This cat was reported lost by its owner on September 24, 2009 in the area of Highway 101 and Valley View Road in Chanhassen. If found or sighted, please call 612-280-1446.

These two cats have been reported lost by their owners on July 19, 2009 near Highways 101 and 4 in Eden Prairie. If found or sighted, please call 952-484-1462.
