Found Animals - Do you know who my owner is?

Help the Community Service Officers find these pets' owners.

To claim your lost pet, or if you have any information on the owner of any animal listed on this page, call the Community Service Officers at 952-227-1607 or email them at CSO@ci.chanhassen.mn.us. After hours, on weekends or holidays, you may call Carver County Dispatch at 952-361-1231 to see if your pet has been picked up.

There are no found animals at this time.

All animals posted on this page are up for adoption in 10 business days from the date they were impounded. Not all animals will be deemed adoptable after the 10-day period. Animals deemed adoptable will be sent to an animal humane society located in the metro area. If you wish to adopt, and would like more information about a particular animal listed on this page, please contact a Community Service Officer at 952-227-1607.

Owners are responsible for all Impound charges at time of release.

All pets residing inside Chanhassen city limits are required to have proof of rabies vaccination and have a city license. Animals that are current with vaccinations (proof must be provided) but do not have a license must acquire one for an animal to be released. Arrangements can be made at release if proof of vaccinations cannot be provided. Call the Community Service Officers at 952-227-1607 for more details.

"KOBY"
Male Yorkshire Terrier, Age 11
Weight: 11 pounds. Was wearing a black collar and tags.
Last seen at his home on Valley Ridge Trail North in Chanhassen
on December 14. Koby is very friendly with dogs and other people.
He has a medical condition and needs special care!

"MUGSY"
Dark gray male cat
Missing since July 17, 2011 from Derby Drive
Approx. 15 pounds, NOT declawed
May or may not be wearing a collar

"SHADOW"
14-year-old Female Gray Tortoiseshell Cat
Missing since July 22, 2011 from 585 Mission Hills Way
If found, contact David at 952-212-0522 or a Community Service Officer at 952-227-1607.


"CLOVER"
Very sweet cat!
Missing since August 22, 2011 from Galpin Boulevard and Highway 5 area (Brinker Street)
No collar, but microchipped
If found, contact Cara Kail at 952-217-5609 or a Community Service Officer at 952-227-1607.
