Building Inspection Division
 The primary task of the Building Inspection Division is to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of the City through the administration of building and fire codes. The department is responsible for plan reviews; permit issuance and inspections of buildings, plumbing and mechanical systems, fire sprinkler and alarm systems, and individual sewage treatment systems; and is also responsible for inspections of existing buildings for fire code violations, and administration of septic tank and RPZ maintenance programs.
