Audubon Road Reconstruction Project 10-02
The project includes the reconstruction of Audubon Road from Lake Drive West to Lyman Boulevard, the installation of turn lanes, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and a 10-foot wide bituminous trail on the west side from Valley Ridge Trail North to Lyman Boulevard. Based on the bid amount, the total project cost is $1,964,994.37 ($795,005.63 below the original estimate). Click HERE to view an updated copy of the plan.

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE UPDATE 6/30/10: During the upcoming holiday weekend, limited access to Audubon Road north of Valley Ridge Trail North, and to Audubon Road south of Valley Ridge Trail South will remain open; however, due to the rough condition of the gravel section, the City is requesting that residents and visitors use Osprey Lane as much as possible. NOTICE OF STREET ACCESS CHANGE 8/16/10: At 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010, access to Valley Ridge Trail North, Valley Ridge Trail South, Valley View Court, Valley View Place, Valley Ridge Court and Valley Ridge Place will be switched to Valley Ridge Trail South. Please use Valley Ridge Trail South to Audubon Road south to Lyman Boulevard. The Valley Ridge Trail South access will remain in effect until the projected project completion date in mid-September. Please refer to Facebook, the City of Chanhassen Website or the Construction Hotline (952-227-1326) for any changes.

- Tree removal
- Begin storm sewer installation

- Start grading - the contractor will begin in the area between Heron Drive and Valley Ridge Trail South
- August, 2010
- Install curb and gutter
- Begin paving
- Substantial construction completion: September 2, 2010
