Proposed Fire Station
A proposed fire station is planned for a small piece of property at the intersection of Lyman Boulevard and Lake Susan Drive. The fire station is necessary when land develops south of Lyman Boulevard and for calls along the TH 212 corridor. The fire station will be approximately 10,000 square feet and will house several vehicles, possibly including the State Patrol. A feasibility study will be drafted to evaluate the needs of the station and when the fire station should be constructed. At this time, the fire station is planned for construction in 2012. The fire station may also be used as a polling station and for other city functions.
