Bring your items to the Carver County Environmental Center on Friday, October 28, 2011 and receive $20 in FREE
recycling fees. Chanhassen residents can recycle items such as appliances, TVs and monitors, bicycles, lawn mowers, tires, yard waste and electronics. These items have associated fees, but on October 28, the first $20 per address will be free of charge. You will need to present an ID to verify your residency.
For a complete list of items and costs, click HERE or call the Environmental Center at 952-361-1800. The Environmental Center also accepts the following items for FREE: clothing and usable items, cooking oil, battries, plastic bags, computers, printer cartridges, cell phones, scrap metal, and small electronics such as VCR and DVD players, printers, stereos, etc.
