Hydrant Flushing
City crews began flushing hydrants the week of March 29 through April 2, 2010 to maintain the distribution system's water quality and allow maintenance employees to identify hydrants and valves in need of repair. Due to unforeseen circumstances, hydrant flushing will continue through April 23, 2010. Flushing will occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
During this period, run the cold water tap and make sure it is clear before washing clothes.
