The Chanhassen ACT on Alzheimer's chapter teamed up with students from the Bluff Creek Elementary Project Impact to create an inter-generational art project that would bring awareness to ACT. The project is one of more than 20 local and global service projects being undertaken by 4th and 5th grade students at the school.
Bluff Creek Elementary kicked off the projects on Thursday, December 8 when Chanhassen ACT representatives spoke with students about their cause. Volunteers were present to help the students with planning the project and the steps needs to make it happen.
On May 31, a community showcase was hosted to display the accomplishments. Students decorated individual tiles, which were then brought together to form a beautiful collage representing ACT.
