  1. eSports League - Multi-Game Option

    July 19, 2021, All Day

    The Blaze Fire video gaming and eSports club is a fun, safe way for the gamers in your household to play with other age-verified competitors so they can make friends within their own community through video gaming. Joining the club gains players access to organized community play to choose to participate in structured leagues and tournaments or social ladder and play activities. Players aged 7+ will participate from home and engage safely in club activity through the Safe Harbor-certified platform GYO Score. Available games frequently rotate to keep up with the most popular titles for kids. Prizes and rewards can be earned for participation and also winning our special skill-based tournaments and leagues. All gamer skill levels are welcome!

    With your registration fee, you may select 1 game to play and gain access to ladders, leagues, and tournaments for that individual game. These activity options will provide 3+ games per week in the selected title.   3. Summer Discovery Playground

    Our famous Summer Discovery Playground program is back with another summer of great activities. We’ve got tons of fun activities for everyone, including games, arts and crafts, special events, snacks, and more! This program is designed for kids ages 4-12 (children must turn 4 by the start of the program). In case of inclement weather, call the Weather Hotline at 952.227.1411. Rain-out days will not be made up. No playground the afternoon of Friday, July 2. The registration deadline for all Summer Discovery Playground dates is: Monday, June 7. ATTENTION: Resident registration starts Monday, March 1 at 9am. To best fit the needs of Chanhassen residents, nonresident registration for the Summer Discovery Playground Program and Lake Ann Adventure Camp will start on Monday, March 8 at 9am. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, significant changes have been made to structure this program. Please visit us online at www.chanrec.com to review these changes prior to registration.

  4. Dance for Fun Summer Classes - Princess & Prince Ballet Time

    Designed for young dancers ages 3-5 and is fun-filled and fast-paced. Rhythm and movement games teach students new ways to express themselves through dance. We will stretch, do light tumbling, learn basic ballet techniques and gross motor skills. Each week will be themed around a princess and dancers are encouraged to dress like the princess of the week!

    Looking for a rewarding way to enhance your everyday life? Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that will work out your body, as well as your mind and spirit. Our classes combine a great aerobic workout with practical self-defense skills, all while sharing rich cultural history. As part of the American Chug Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do Associate, we have a strong focus on building our students character as much as perfecting their technique. This class is geared for students holding yellow through green belts. Beginners should wear loose-fitting clothes (no jeans). Ages 6 - 15. Max: 15.

    Looking for a rewarding way to enhance your everyday life? Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that will work out your body and your mind and spirit. Our classes combine a great aerobic workout with practical self-defense, all while sharing the rich cultural history Tae Kwon Do has to offer. As part of the American Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do Association, we have a strong focus on proper technique and ensuring our students earn each rank they obtain. Our Nationally certified instructors include 5th degree Jr. Masters Taylor Pederson & Jenny Doan and 4th degree Jr. Master Travis Ott. This course is for participants of all skill levels. Beginners should wear loose-fitting clothes (no jeans) to class. Max: 15. *Please note that in the summer we don’t have separate orientation for session 1. Ages 15+ • All experience levels • No Classes: Sept. 4-6 (Labor Day Weekend).
